Featuring a series of presentations and discussions by industry participants and advisors that will address key domestic and international industry developments and issues.

What is the LEC?

After thoughtful consideration, we have decided to forgo the Louisiana Energy Conference for 2021. We have begun preparations and are extremely excited for LEC 2022 which we plan to be in-person again at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.

As in years past, LEC 2022 will feature a series of approximately 20 presentations, panels and discussions from Tuesday, May 24 through Thursday, May 26 that will address key domestic and international oil and natural gas industry developments and topics. A knowledgeable group of industry participants and advisors comprised of executives from over 80 organizations, including public and private energy companies as well as advisory, investment, private equity, industry trade groups, regulatory agencies and support firms will be on hand for all presentations and panels. Confirmed investment professional attendees will also be given the opportunity to participate in one-on-one sessions during conference hours Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26. On Friday, May 27, we will head out to nearby areas of New Orleans for our traditional Friday field-trips, giving attendees the opportunity to witness first hand various aspects of the oil and natural gas industry at work.

Attendance at the Conference is directed to investment professionals including buy side and sell side analysts and portfolio managers, as well as private equity and wealth management executives and trust officers. There is no cost for investment professionals to attend the Conference.

The cost for all other attendees will be $395 per person.

We have already finalized our Conference plans for next year and our 2022 LEC will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans May 24 -27, 2022 and hope you will mark your calendars to join us live and in-person then.  Registration for 2022 will open later this year.

Our 2020 virtual LEC topics are detailed below. The 2022 agenda will be structured with 30-45 minute presentation and panel sessions outlining a variety of industry relevant topics. Each session will allow time for questions/discussion at the end.

The conference will also host networking events and field trips. Attendance at special events during the Conference will be limited so we encourage you complete your personal agenda during your registration.
